Arbortrack

Arbortrack is a GIS-based tree and vegetation management system from Arbortrack Systems Limited, incorporated in 1996 and registered in Kenilworth, Warwickshire. It is developed and supported by partner TriNova Systems Limited of Chesterfield, Derbyshire, which has worked on it since 1999. The company says Arbortrack is used by "over 90 UK Councils and 10 International Companies", and in October 2026 its login server reported 1,219 users and 3.6 million recorded features. Arbortrack Web is the office system and runs in Chrome or Edge. It offers Ordnance Survey MasterMap, AddressBase, NLPG and aerial imagery, a postcode gazetteer, user-defined reports (including tree canopy cover by area), an inspection diary and a full audit trail. Its contractor work orders support schedules of rates, cyclical orders and financial reports, and contractors can log in to sign off work. Arbortrack Surveyor is a tablet app for Android and iPad with GPS, camera and live or cached (offline) mapping. For integration, Arbortrack supports shapefile import and export, XML, Excel and Google Sheets exports, and a Web Feature Service (WFS) feed into ESRI, MapInfo or Cadcorp. It also offers what3words locations for public and contractor use. Data is hosted in a Sheffield data centre with daily backups. Arbortrack suits UK local authorities and organisations managing large tree stocks.
